Antidoping is a pioneer Mexican reggae band that was born in the summer of 1992, founded by brothers Manuel and Pedro Apodaca, originally from Coyoacán, Mexico City. Antidoping is considered a cult band and as one of the most important in Latin America in the reggae genre. Antidoping's music combines elements, roots and forms of the city's cultural mosaic, with the rhythm and taste of the Rastafarian movement to create an alternative within the expressions of the country's musical medium. Antidoping offers to those who listen to it, the possibility of sensitizing themselves in body, mind and soul through a fresh and committed reggae, embodied in their experiences within a range of concepts that affirms their convictions towards respect, fun, peace and the reunion with nature and humanity. Antidoping is one of the founding bands of the Razteca movement that gave rise to the idea of ​​creating a hybrid between the Rastafari culture of Jamaica and the Mexican culture. It is a group that has maintained its seal of love, peace and brotherhood for over 23 years despite the political and social conditions that surround them. Antidoping is the reggae band in Mexico.

They have released five studio albums and one live from San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas. They are world renowned for their great compositions and great hits that have become classics of Spanish music. Outstanding participations in trailers such as Festival Razteca 2000 and the soundtrack of the Spanish film "The Ugliest Woman in the World" by Miguel Bardem with the theme "Lola". His music has led them to explore great and important stages in cities in Europe, USA, Canada, Latin America and of course, every corner of Mexico.

Antidoping continues stronger than ever and they demonstrate it with their most recent studio album “RENACER” where the maturity they have acquired over the years is reflected, with a solid alignment full of talent that stands out in each note of this, his fifth record material that is still present and inspiring new generations. From the album "RENACER" the simple "READY" and "WAHE GURU", the first one with a video recorded in Port-au-Prince, New York and Mexico City. He was nominated for BEST DISCO in the REGGAE / SKA category of the Indi-0 Music Awards 2015 (IMAS) and recommended in the Spanish special of the American magazine "Reggae Guide 2015".

Antidoping is currently the Mexican band of its kind, with more presence in the national music scene. His participations range from major and important festivals such as Vive Latino, where he has participated twice, one of them closing the Red Carp in 2012, which was broadcast live on the Coca-Cola TV portal, as well as in specialized festivals such as the Reggae Live Festival that featured the most prominent reggae worldwide and Antidoping as the only representative of the Mexican scene. The diversity of Antidoping has led them to alternate with artists and audiences of all musical styles. Antidoping is considered a classic band of musical culture in Mexico, in its lyrics highlights harmony, peace, brotherhood and love towards life.
