The story of the 2in1 band began in 1999 when several Pankrac tribesmen at the Café Halfway agreed to merge two new musical projects - Paranoia and Čára over the budget. Therefore, the ensemble formed a logical name of 2in1 and it was possible to start rehearsing - which was already necessary because no one could play any instrument and initially a 5-member bunch in the group 2xkytara, 2xbasa, 1xbicí so quite interesting sound, say experimental noise .
However, this began to change after the arrival of the later frontman Krleš, who brought vital know-how in the form of 7 years spent in the LŠU playing classical music on an acoustic guitar. He also enriched the 2v1 musical expression with elements of singing and finally brought the first member of the brass section, the trumpeter Hroma. He was originally supposed to be just a party at the St. Nicholas party in the then rehearsal room. The event, when 50 people slept in the apartment 2 + 1 and "could destroy everything there", however, appealed to him that he accepted the offer for a more permanent engagement that day after. After some time, several members then leave and base their time this really nois project TYK. Nevertheless, 2in1 keeps their name (and such drummer Joska, bassist Jirik and guitarist Misa) and also steals the band Zrakawad from the highly talented saxophonist Hans.
At that time they have been at least 2 years since the first rehearsal and the guys are beginning to suspect that they are playing ska-punk which they knew mainly from American bands such as Catch 22 or BigD and the Kids Table. This is the beginning of a more or less normal concert, the coming Moravian trombonist Dočki and the first attempt to make a CD, which, however, after two days ends in failure and its completion so the album RUDE 66 a good year and a half later. However, the procrastination has certainly paid off, because there are 14 songs loaded with dramatic breaths, sharpened guitars and massive vocals on the album, which together create a very original sound within the ska-punk genre. After another year, the last major event comes - a change in the position of drummer. Joska is leaving and Libor, a former hardrocker and biker, is taking his place. Unfortunately, this caused almost a six-month concert break, but we started to write a completely new chapter in our history and we think everyone has something to look forward to. So come and see us because it's always the best ....
