Kortatu was a Spanish ska-punk group founded in 1984 in Irun, Basque Country (Spain). They were active between 1984 and 1988.



They formed part of the Basque Radical Rock and were pioneers in introducing the ska in Spain, provided with a punk background base. One of his main influences was the British band The Clash. His lyrics initially alternated between Spanish and Euskera, to finally adopt the latter only.
