With his brother, drummer Carlton Barrett (1950-1987), was part of Lee Perry's [url=http://www.discogs.com/artist/64735-Upsetters-The]The Upsetters[/url] before joining Bob Marley in the group [url=http://www.discogs.com/artist/52145-Wailers-The]The Wailers[/url] (that would become Bob Marley & The Wailers). Also played on various other Jamaican reggae sessions.
